It feels like „GRIP presenters on the rocks“. And in a small, exclusive group: we keep to ourselves.
Welcome to this automotive highlight in Sorsele, in northern Sweden. With drifts on mirror-smooth ice surfaces. With training sessions on perfectly prepared ice tracks. With rally feeling on kilometers of slopes. With sideways driving until the snow turns to dust.
This is where „testing“ becomes consciously „pushing boundaries“ - on ice and especially off-road in snowy terrain.
Together with Matthias and Niki, we head out into the Swedish wilderness in the G 580: deep snow. Rugged terrain. Difficult inclines. Loose ground. Just the right terrain to put G-TURN and G-STEERING to the test and experience what the electric G-Class is capable of: up to two full turns almost on the spot and extremely precise maneuvering in narrow off-road passages, hairpin bends, and during quick changes of direction. In other words, whenever the course gets tricky.

Off-road challenge.
Ready to beat the clock? A challenging course awaits you in the Swedish countryside: narrow passages, climbs on ice and snow. Accompanied by Matthias Malmedie, you will drive the traction course against the clock. It's not just speed that counts here, but precision. And in the end, every second.
Drift Challenge.
Perfect drift angle, optimal speed, and pure driving pleasure. You will actively experience the limits of driving physics and push the boundaries lap after lap in Mercedes-Benz models. Precise. Safe. Controlled. To get the most out of every drift with the right throttle feel and perfect timing.
Racing taxi with Matthias Malmedie.
The highlight after the highlights: the winners of the Offroad and Drift Challenge take off in the race taxi – with Matthias Malmedie at the wheel of the legendary „190“.
Snowmobile tour.
In between, we swap the Mercedes-Benz models with spike tires for two skis and a tracked vehicle and explore the untouched nature of the Arctic Circle with an experienced guide. The joint snowmobile tour – an unforgettable experience in the Arctic environment.
