Safety concept Sweden 2022

Current information & measures to reduce the risk of infection with the Corona virus.

The safety & health of our participants and employees is our top priority.

In order to ensure these aspects as best as possible at our events, and due to the pandemic situation that continues to exist at the moment, the 2G plus rule applies at the winter training sessions of Mercedes-Benz Driving Events in Sweden.

This means that vaccinated and recovered people with a additional negative test evidence have the opportunity to participate in our Driving Events

What proofs are accepted?

Vaccinated

Individuals are considered vaccinated if they have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 with a vaccine licensed in the European Union, have proof of vaccination in English, French, German, Italian, or Spanish or in an electronic document, and at least 14 days have passed since the final vaccination.

Recover

A person considered to be recovered who has evidence regarding the presence of previous infection with Corona virus SARS-CoV-2 in English, French, German, Italian, or Spanish, or in an electronic document, if the underlying testing was done by PCR method and was done at least 28 days but not more than six months ago. Both recovered and vaccinated individuals must not have typical symptoms of SARS-CoV-2 corona virus infection. In addition, they must not have a current infection with the Corona virus SARS-CoV-2.

PCR tests

The PCR test must have been taken no more than 48 hours before the start of the departure and must have been issued by an official testing center.

ALTERNATIVE

Rapid antigen tests for professional use

These must be performed by healthcare professionals or comparable persons trained for this purpose. In principle, this is possible at local test centers, physicians in private practice, pharmacies and test centers commissioned by the Public Health Service. A certificate is issued for the result, which must be presented before departure; the rapid test must have been carried out no more than 24 hours before the start of the visit.

Evidence must be provided in accordance with the Safeguards Exceptions Ordinance (SchAusnahmV) of 08.05.2021.

To prioritize the safety of all participants and employees, these additional rules apply:

FFP2 mask requirement.

Maintaining the minimum distance of 1.5 meters.

Regular hand washing.

Non-arrival in case of flu symptoms.

Furthermore, we recommend that you take out travel cancellation insurance.

We hope for your understanding that we regularly reassess the situation due to the dynamic situation.
